AS AMERICAN IM ALLOWED TO STAY IN FINLAND FOR 90 DAYS BUT IM GOING TO OVER STAY MY LIMTED AND STAY MAYBE 1 YEAR WHAT IS A GOOD COUNTRY TO THEN FLY BACK TO USA SO FINLAND WILL NOT NOTICE MY PASSPORT AND MY STAY OF 1 YEAR, I WAS THINKING NORWAY OR THE UK OR UKRAINE, THANK YOU,
I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t just fly directly back to the US from Finland.
A visa isn’t necessary to leave a country, just to enter it.
And I don’t understand why going to another country first would confuse the Finnish.
Your problem is that Finland is a member of the Schengen Agreement. For traveling to any country outside the Schengen area (UK, Ukraine) you will undergo an exit immigration inspection and your passport will be scanned. If you travel to Norway, no immigration process will take place since that is a Schengen internal flight, similar to a U.S. domestic flight. However if you depart Norway to a non-Schengen country, again your passport will be examined and scanned.
Even if the immigration officer will just stamp your passport without noticing the overstay, be sure the electronic system will notice it and you will be banned from entry to any EU country for the next five years.
However your problem will even start before. Finland as most other European countries requires their citizens be registered through communal authorities and non-EU foreigners be registered through the Finnish police. Any hotel you check-in requires your passport data and reports your arrival and departure to the Finnish authorities. Their data processing system will detect your illegality should you try to stay longer than 90 days without being registered as temporary resident in Finland..
doesn’t make sense, when you leave finland to go anywhere, your overstay will be noted, if not sooner
